Ah yes ... winter is here

Not that we received a whole lot of snow but we are under a 2 hour delay.

Some people embrace delays like a long-lost family member.

Here, it is embraced like the plague.

No sooner does the Man make it out the door is he coming back in that door. I just say shorten the morning Kindergarten class, and let my kid have his normal day at school.

And then there is Queen, who either is anxious to get on the bus, or just lounges around.

The kids went outside to take advantage of the 1/4" of snow on the ground.

"Let's make snow angels!" "Let's build a snowman!!!"

As you can see, my kids have grand expectations ...

And just for good measure, you know you want to see my new great nephew ... you know you do. And he really is a beautiful newborn baby.

Oh, what a sweet baby boy. He's adorable!

We've gotten some snow, enough to get Plowboy up and at it again. I'm surprised Pman made it through yesterday evening without stroking out about the gravel that was getting pushed into our driveway (and will end up being missiles of death when Pman needs to use the snowblower).

Ugh.

Our school doesn't do delays...you either go or you stay home and 1/4" isn't enough for staying home.

how fun, a new baby. Sometimes they make me want another one, sometimes they make me really glad that for now I only have one!

Hope the kids had fun in the snow, hope you get more of it!!

Your nephew is absolutely adorable, so are the other three cherubs. It snowed two miles from our house, but not us, what's up with that?
