Friday, February 09, 2007 Friday Feast # 2 Appetizer - Have you been sick yet this winter? If so, what did you come down with? Ah yes ... I have been sick this winter. Came down with some sort of crap that ended up taking me to the dr. for some antibiotics. I think it was deemed a sinus infection. Soup - What colors dominate your closet? I will have to say that brown, black, white, and khaki dominate the old closet. I really would be a good subject of What Not To Wear. And not the watered-down American version... the good British version with Trinny and Susannah. Salad - How would you describe your personal "comfort zone"? Oh wow. I like to be "out there" "larger than life" and that is how I want people to know me. But I also need to be able to pull that in sometimes because I can't always live like that. So I would say that anything that I can control is all in my comfort zone. If it starts to go out of control, then I am not at all comfortable. Main Course - On which reality show would you really like to be a contestant? Seriously, I would LOVE to be on The Biggest Loser. I have weight to lose, and the drama queen in me wants to be on television. Dessert - Which holiday would you consider to be your favorite? Hands down, it would be Thanksgiving because that was the day I was born. Thanksgiving reminds me of home, it reminds me of fall, it reminds me of school programs, it reminds me of being with family. If I concentrate on all of those other things, I forget that I turn a year older! LOL! |
I'm a mom of three peeps ... Queen Bee, The Door Man, and the Chandelier Monkey, and wife to Ace, the Helpful Hardware Man. I created this space to get away from the people known as my inlaws, and because life with three kids and a hubby is all Unexplored Territory.

Well! I think the color scheme in your closet sounds just fine! Now... I don't know what kind of STYLES your packin' -- that's a whole 'nuther issue... but not a thing wrong with those colors - s'long as they look good on you!
For a minute there, I thought maybe your Soup and Main Course were going to mix together... but I was wrong! Perhaps you would need to switch things up a bit and have the main course first - and then the soup! ;)
Yep, all my diet stuff IS on my blog -- I haven't gotten around to labeling it all yet. But I'm very basic. I watch my calories and I exercise my butt off! (literally)
I am glad you are feeling better.
Great Friday Feast!
My feast is served.
Have a wonderful day!

Ya!! I can see just WHY your favorite holiday is your birthday. But here in the USA, our Thanksgiving is a different numbered day each year.
Happy feasting.
My birthday feast is served, hope you can join me by adding your name on my guest list.
You also have more than one "favourite" color lol !Thanks for your comment. You know hot red wine is prepared with cloves, cinnamon and sometimes a little lemmon slice in many northern countries here in Europe. It's a typical winter drink to warm you up. It is a tradition on Christmas markets where you have special booth for that. Everybody drinks it and you can also buy it already prepared in a bottle and just heat it up. Try once it's very good ! Between us of course I haven't been sick, lol !
Thanksgiving is my favorite. But probably my most favorite type of Thanksgiving would be just me, Pman and the boys. Now we have so much family that we end up running here, there and everywhere. And it would be nice, just every 3 years or so, for it to be just us.
I couldn't chose a reality show to be on. I could, however, choose a game show...Wheel of Fortune, baby! I'd LOVE to be a contestant.
Thanksgiving would be a close second for me. I just love all that yummy food!
I don't think I've ever watched The Biggest Loser. Sounds interesting.
First of all, thanks for introducing me to Friday's Feast. Which I participated in for the first time this week. However, what a dork I am. When it asked, favorite holiday? I'm thinking holiday in the British sense. You know, vacation. So, you put Thanksgiving, I put Italy. Hmmmm...I liked reading your answers. We both have control in common.
Nice post.
I came across a good natural weight loss plan while doing research on the internet. To check it out go to Healthy Weight Loss
