Pass the Torch Tuesday

This morning, I woke up with a headache. It is raining and nasty outside, so no wonder my head was throbbing. I thought some coffee would make it go away, but the caffeine had no effect.

I was sitting here at the computer, getting some work done while the Door Man works on his journal book (all self-imposed), and the Monkey watched Dora on the television (the Monkey is on a sick day as she decided to vomit in my bed yesterday morning, lie around all morning, and have tummy trouble before naptime yesterday .... she is 1000 percent better today, but not going to preschool).

I asked the Man to go get my purse because I had some Advil in it, and I asked him to bring me a cup so I could get some water out of the sink.

He was taking a little longer than normal, but I just waited for him. Knowing that he has a heart of gold, I knew he was doing something extra on his errand.

And sure enough, he showed up with a Tupperware cup, lid attached, and a straw to help me drink the water I needed to take my Advil.

He will make an excellent husband one day.

The Lovely She, that is me!

I'm a mom of three peeps ... Queen Bee, The Door Man, and the Chandelier Monkey, and wife to Ace, the Helpful Hardware Man. I created this space to get away from the people known as my inlaws, and because life with three kids and a hubby is all Unexplored Territory.
