I'm a mom of three peeps ... Queen Bee, The Door Man, and the Chandelier Monkey, and wife to Ace, the Helpful Hardware Man. I created this space to get away from the people known as my inlaws, and because life with three kids and a hubby is all Unexplored Territory.

Oh, you bad girl!! Ben had to shush you? What play were you seeing?
I'm not a big fan of those TV shows, either. I thought I was all alone!
My TT is up.
I just started doing Thursday Thirteen too!
Link me up baby!
welcome to the list. :) Ben Kingsley talked to you? Wow!
Ha ha ha, great list!
We were seeing MacBeth. I can't even remember what part it was at ... but let me tell you, I was BORED OUT OF MY SKULL!!!! Something about seeing Shakespeare in London, with real English accents...
I was whispering something (well, I thought I was whispering) to my friend next to me, and he looked straight at me and said "will you KINDLY be quiet. There are those of us who want to SEE this production." I will never forget the mortification... and I didn't even know it was him until he spoke right at me. I was SOOOOO embarassed.
funny story on your #13! There would be more good plays if you lived in London!
I LOVE your blog design! Did you do it yourself? It's beautiful.
What a FABULOUS encounter with a celebrity. (NOT!) Bet you wanted to crawl under your seat - I know that's what I would have wanted to do. :)
I am a high school teacher, but I would love to go to high school.
Love your list! Thanks for visiting my TT! I would also go back to high school years again.
You were admonished by Ben Kingsley? That cracks me up more than the Little House dream! Hahahhaha!
As for Sex & The City. I agree. I hate that show too. You're on your own with Seinfeld though...
Happy TT!
What a great list. I laughed all the way through it. As the mother of grown daughters I'm glad you still listen to your mom.
Great list!

Welcome to the T13, you did great for your first one! How cool is that, that Ben Kingsley told you to shush! :)
Have a great day, mine is up too...
I would also love to live in London, and I also hate Sex in the City. I like the story behind the Ben Kingsley encounter!
I on the other hand love Sex in the City, but totally with you on the Seinfield bit. Thanks for sharing. My TT is up.
Why London? Not the weather, surely. lol. My T13 is up at FBI - Bible Misquotes Edition.
I can relate to many of these, especially the leaving the scene of a collision...I did exactly the same thing in the IGA parking lot! Love your blog, will definitely visit again!
Cheers!
Welcome to the Thirteeners!! Stop by any time.

That's hilarious about Ben Kingsley. I loved it when he appeared on The Sopranos. It was so incongruous.
I enjoyed your TT. I am also a new "blogging chick" and this was my first TT-- I didn't even know to do the "code thing." Anyway, nice to meet cha!!
