TT # 11

Thirteen Things on My Desk

Yeah... ok ... it isn't an exciting one this week. I'm hungry. I have Taco Bell waiting for me. I was in a room with 27 3-6 year olds tonight for an hour. My brain is fried.

1. My phone. Woo Hoo!

2. A $ 1 Play Money Bill.

3. Well... here's something that wasn't there earlier. My Weight Watchers book full of stuff. I think Ace is trying to tell me something there...

4. Dried pineapple tidbits. Hey... there's a reason that WW book is on my desk.

5. A purple marker that was pried from the Monkey's grasp a few days ago when she came back with it, and about 10 marks on her legs and arms. Thank goodness it is washable.

6. My Iriver and headphones. But I don't listen to it.

7. A giraffe that Queen Bee made at a Vacation Bible School last year.

8. A goals book that I made ... and that the Monkey used the purple marker in.

9. A watch that hasn't worked for years.

10. Oooo... there's that favorite pen of mine ... I've been look all over for you!

11. Batteries. Don't know if they are good or bad or indifferent.

12. The comb I used for my horse's mane and tail.. when I owned a horse in COLLEGE! I don't know how it made it back here, but it is sitting right here, next to the lamp. I have caught the Monkey trying to comb her hair with it on occasion.

13. Two Immodium AD tablets. Because ... you just never know...

It's great that you have Taco Bell waiting and the WW book on your desk. I did WW for a while a few years ago ~ it worked, but I think it's only because I switched to Diet Pepsi because I wouldn't give up the 4 points for a can of Regular.

Mine's up ~ Have a great Thursday.

Love lists like this...insight into the "real" person;-)"...I too, need WW...or something. Started exercising last week and have been eating like a total pig...I think my metabolism is up...but why waste that one losing weight if I can just eat 24 hours a day? sheesh. But I digress...

Cute list. Enjoy yur taco:-)

It is funny that you found things you didn't even know were on your desk as you were making this list.

I used to work for a municipal office -- I often wondered if Immodium AD helped with diarrea of the mouth.
I would have brought that stuff in by the truck load if it had.

Great stuff

Don't you just love finding those hidden treasures! I know every once in a while I clean off mine, usually when I am missing something.

WOW is right on the 10 kids! Thanks for the comment.

HA! Too funny! I would be seriously afraid to even start a list like that. Looking around my desk right now? It would be about 10 pages long.

The horse comb is hilarious...it's amazing how a desk is such a special place to leave something. I think its because we are always using our desk and it has so many transitions...stuffing something on the desk means "it's important" but I'll put it away when I feel like it, if its on the desk...it doesn't have to be organized right away or something.

I love the lists about purse contents and desk contents so much...always makes the internet feel so real!

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

See ya around!
Cheers

Wait until she advances to the Sharpies. It drives me nuts to find Sharpies everywhere and look at my oldest only to see his arms spattered with gigantic swaths of black from having marker fights with his friend. Ugh.

Mine TT is finally up. Blogger wouldn't let me post any pictures. Stupid thing.

You are amazing. I have far more than 13 things and don't even know how I'd sort out 13 things on my desk. Oh--the woman thinks it's her desk and she says number one is a big fat Chey behind... Isn't she rude?

Mmmmm Dried Pineapple bits.

I'll trade you lemon drops, 1/3 an iced pumpkin cookie, or an unopened snack back of baked doritos for some dried pineapple bits.

Happy TT!

Don't you wish there was a way to check your batteries? Sometimes when I'm changing them, I forget which ones were the good ones and end up dumping all of them! So wasteful!
