Pass the Torch Tuesday

Last night as I was driving Queen Bee home from her dance lesson, she and I engaged in a conversation about money.

Mommy ... what would it be like if we were millionaires?

Well, nothing would change, really. We would just have more money.

Well you know what? I would give it all to people who don't have any money, because we really don't need all of that money at all. We have a house and a good car, and we have food. A lot of people don't have those things. That is really sad.

If I have said it once, I will say it a billion times more: this child has the heart of a servant.

How is it that young kids can "get it" so well, but as adults it so often escapes us? Yes, the heart of a servant. Excellent contribution again this week, Meredith.

(And the husband week thing is just what I'm celebrating - I didn't intend for everyone to have to do that. You're right on track.)

I reveal the mystery name of my husband later today. Robin made the right guess, but I'm keeping you all in suspense for a few more hours;)

She does have a very giving heart, and very sensible too!
She could teach some adults a lesson or two on things that matter most. Happy PTT!

The Lovely She, that is me!

I'm a mom of three peeps ... Queen Bee, The Door Man, and the Chandelier Monkey, and wife to Ace, the Helpful Hardware Man. I created this space to get away from the people known as my inlaws, and because life with three kids and a hubby is all Unexplored Territory.

The five-year-old with the 13-year-old attitude, who has a dictator's personality, asks you to watch her all the time and say "hold on" to keep your attention, and will someday come home on the back of some dude's motorcycle with 10 tatts and a body piercing or two.
