Unce, Tice, Free Hundred Times a Mady

Ok... name it. You know you have heard it.

But really, this is in reference to how many times can I REALLY check my email in a day. I think I am nearing the 300 mark for the day.

Because I am waiting to hear about a job interview.

And they are dangling me by a string right now.

And I don't like that at all.

I was phone interviewed last week, and I think I made the interviewer question her sanity a few times for agreeing to interview me, of all the people who were being interviewed that night.

I was told that it would take them two weeks to figure out who to give face to face interviews with. And I was informed that I passed the phone interview, but I am in hiatus-land where I was good enough on the phone, but still trying to decide if I am good enough to see face to face.

So here I sit, frantically checking my email like I am some girl sitting by the phone waiting for her dream man to call to ask her to the prom.

I need to get a life. And get over myself. And get up from this chair.

But not before I go check my email again.

And that song ... Eddie Murphy's Buckwheat's Greatest Hits.

It's those times that seem to drag on the longest. You should try to keep yourself occupied as much as possible, though. Good luck!

I hate waiting. I'm a very impatient person! Good luck on the interview, I'm sure you'll hear something soon.

Ack I am right with you. I submitted a resume via email and received an email that I will be receiving an email shortly setting up an interview, lol. So I check and check and check! I hate it. Good luck to you in your upcoming interview.

Heck, I check it that often and I'm not even waiting for anything;)

Good luck!

I hate that. At least they talked to you and gave you a chance. They didn't even bother to do that at the college. I applied for a job there and all I ever got was a "thanks, but no thanks" letter. Ooooh they pissed me off.

As a side note though, I did benefit from applying. My boss and the board found out (hard, I used my bosses brother as a reference) and I got myself a nice raise for the next fiscal year because they are a bit worried about losing me. Woohoo.

I'll keep my fingers crossed you get some good news and a face-to-face soonest.

I have every confidence you'll get the interview AND the job. My thoughts are with you, and try to rest. Oh dear, that sounds like a Mominator comment, doesn't it?

Nothing at all, Kelly. I am really starting to wonder. I am still in their system as eligible for the next step. So I guess as long as it says that, it is ok.
